B. Highway Pick-up Truck Quotes
Superintendent DeMars reported that he has received quotes from Chevrolet and Dodge and is awaiting the Ford quote. There was a delay in obtaining quotes as the model year is in the process of changing from 2016-2017.
On a motion by Councilman Smalley, second by Councilman Bartiss, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town of Franklin Town Board does hereby authorize Highway Superintendent Jacques DeMars to purchase, at NYS contract price, the pick-up truck of his choice when he obtains quotes from Ford, Dodge and Chevrolet if the quotes are received before the July 13, 2016 board meeting. Creation of a Master Plan for the Town will be discussed at a later date.
All projects are on schedule to be completed by the end of June.
